Love, Death and Robots is a brand new animated anthology original series by Netflix. Showing absolutely stunning visuals, colours and utilizing different art styles and CGI, we think this series is going to be a hit!
Netflix describe the series as “a collection of animated short stories that span the science fiction, fantasy, horror and comedy genres. With a bold approach to each story’s narrative, episodes are intended to be easy to watch and hard to forget.”
Love, Death and Robots is an anthology series, meaning every episode is different. Each with it’s own unique story and use of different characters. Think Black Mirror and American Horror Story, so if you like these you’re in for a treat!
What can we expect from the series
A lot of the episodes in Love, Death and Robots contain explicit scenes and nudity as seen from the images and trailer below. Even the poster for the series says “a NSFW animated anthology”. NSFW is an acronym used on the internet to define content that is not safe for work.
Story lines and plots for each episode are still under the radar at the moment. Going off the trailer the stories will definitely be crazy, mind blowing and thought-provoking.
Sentient dairy products, werewolf soldiers, robots gone wild, garbage monsters, cyborg bounty hunters, alien spiders and blood-thirsty demons from hell are just some of the creatures and things that feature in the series.
Feast your eyes on these beautiful production stills of the series. Hopefully this will give you an idea of what visuals and the different kind of episodes we can expect.
