Lorena is a documentary following the famous story of Lorena Bobbitt, a woman who was sexually assaulted in 1993 by her husband, retaliating by cutting off his genitals while he slept. The series focuses on how the news and media covered the story as well as exploring domestic and sexual assault.
The series is produced by Jordan Peele who directed the film Get Out.
