British comedy series The Last Leg is a late night talk show that first came about during the 2012 Paralympic games. It’s hosted by Australian comedian Adam Hills with support from Josh Widdecombe (BBC Three’s Josh) and Alex Brooker (ex contestant from Channel 4’s The Jump). Both Hills and Brooker have prosthetic legs and the show serves as a format to providing comic relief about disabilities and advocating an alternative and progressive view towards the topical issues of the week.

The show makes extensive use of twitter by suggesting viewers to reach out about controversial issues using various hashtags. Continual use of the #isitok hashtag invites viewers to ask questions, often about disabilities, that they would otherwise feel too embarrassed to ask.
