Cleverman is an Australian series that re-imagines stories of the Aboriginal Dreamtime in a modern, super-heroic context, and reflects on racism, asylum seekers and border protection. Set in the near future, physically powerful beings known as “Hairies” struggle to survive in a segregated society that wants to silence, exploit and destroy them.
