New Zealand TV Series

One of the biggest New Zealand TV series to come out recently is probably hit Amazon Prime original, All or Nothing: New Zealand All Blacks. A reality sports series. New Zealand TV series like fantasy-drama, The Almighty Johnsons have also gained popularity in Britain as well thanks to Netflix.

New Zealand is also a popular spot for filming, some of the biggest movies have been filmed in New Zealand. Lord of the Rings for example was filmed in NZ. With beautiful scenery the country has seen some brilliant films and TV series recorded in the country.

Several shows have also had spin offs in New Zealand including well known British formats like Masterchef, The Weakest Link and Dancing with the Stars. Although the NZ versions of reality shows don’t tend to air on UK TV.
