Gotham is an American crime drama television series developed by Bruno Heller, based on characters published by DC Comics and appearing in the Batman franchise, primarily those of James Gordon (Ben Mckenzie) and Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz). Gotham portrays he story behind Detective James Gordon’s rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman’s arrival. The show also stars familair face Morena Baccarin (Homeland), playing the role of Dr. Leslie Thompkins. Recently the show moved broadcaster in the UK, from Channel 5 to E4 but seasons 1-3 are currently available on Netflix.
