Alias Grace is a Canadian drama TV series, based on the novel with the same name written by Margaret Atwood (The Handmaid’s Tale). Originally premiering on CBC in Canada, it was distributed internationally on Netflix. Only running for a single season and spread across six episodes, the series starred Sarah Gadon, Edward Holcroft and Zachary Levi (Chuck). The story follows the notorious murders of Thomas Kinnear and Nancy West in 1843. Two servants were convicted of the crime and we follow the persecution of one of the housekeepers, including her time in prison.
