Stargirl

Teenager Courtney Whitmore joins the Justice Society of America. Based on the character from DC Comics.

This American superhero teenage drama series, aptly named DC’s Stargirl, or simply Stargirl, is a creation of Geoff Johns and is based on the DC Comics superhero Courtney Whitmore (Star-Spangled Kid) portrayed by Brec Bassinger who has played a number of previous roles in a few successful hits such as Bella Dawson on the 2015–2016 Nickelodeon series Bella and the Bulldogs and Emma in The Haunted Hathaways.

In this latest series, and a decade after most of the JSA society’s team were killed in a battle,  she discovers the cosmic staff and becomes the motivating factor for a new generation of superheroes who have become part of the Justice Society of America (JSA). Which is comprised of a superhero team that appears in several DC Comic Books and the original members of this JSA were Atom, Hour-man, Spectre, Flash, Doctor Fate, Green Lantern, Hawkman and Sandman.

Lou Ferrigno Jr. as Rex Tyler / Hourman and also played in the popular series S.W.A.T is a guest star on the show. He plays a member of the original JSA and the father of Rick Tyler who was "a master chemist and adrenaline junkie" with the ability to acquire super-strength for one hour a day using a substance of his own invention in his hourglass amulet. Now that's a superpower to have!
