The Tudors is a historical fiction television series set primarily in the 16th-century Kingdom of England, following the 36 year rule of King Henry VIII. Each season of the series depicts different parts of Henry’s reign, exploring his six different wives and the types of relationships he had with them, as well as the other events in the kingdom, such as assassinations and revolts.
The Tudors stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) and Henry Cavill and has gained high critic scores and great reviews.
The series is complete with four seasons, concluding in 2010, but is available to watch on some streaming services.
