American TV drama The Affair explores an extramarital relationship between Noah Solloway (Dominic West) and Alison Lockhart (Ruth Wilson) that will change the course of their lives forever. Known primarily for his work in The Wire, Dominic West here plays a family man that resents his dependence on his wealthy father in law; Ruth Wilson, as seen in Luther, becomes Noah Solloway’s lover after they meet in Montauk, New York.
