America’s Got Talent (AGT) is the American version of Britains Got Talent, both were created and star Simon Cowell as a judge (and is pretty much the only judge that really matters). The format of the show is very similar to that of the British version where acts go on stage in front of a live audience in the hopes of getting through to the live shows, unlike the British version though the prize is $1,000,000 and a chance to headline a show in Vegas (quite a step up from the UK prize us Brits get!).
