Das Boot is an upcoming historical German TV series, set to be released on Sky in November 2018. Based on the original 1981 submarine warfare film Das Boot, set during World War II, this remake will comprise eight, hour long episodes. Focussing on both land and submarine based warfare, we will see the perspective of French and German forces – especially exploring the resistance in La Rochelle. The series stars Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen H’ghar in Game of Thrones), Rick Okon and Vicky Krieps.
