Major Crimes is a spin-off of The Closer, where Capt. Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) is selected as the new head of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Major Crimes Division. The series also sees numerous cast members continuing in their roles from The Closer and also stars G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison and Raymond Cruz.
