Amazon Prime Video has released the highly anticipated high-profile project, series Utopia which was launched on Friday 25th September. This is an eight-part conspiracy thriller that comes from best-selling author and award-winning screenwriter, Gillian Flynn (Sharp Objects).
It brings back some of the characters from the original series (2013 British Original) but also adding a few more new ones. Hoping this will not stray too far from the source materials, fans are already looking forward to seeing Sasha Lane playing “Jessica Hyde”, the daughter of a genius scientist. Rainn Wilson The Office (US) plays Michael Stearns.
The gripping series revolves around five strangers from an online comic book forum, agree to meet after gaining possession of a manuscript for the cult graphic novel the “The Utopia Experiments”. The makings of a shadowy deep state organization and the burdens they carry with them couple into one heck of an exciting and dangerous series revolving around the dangers of trying to save the world.
A star-studded cast ranging from John Cusack, Dan Byrd, Desmin Borges to name a few.
