The Expanse is an American sci-fi TV series, based on The Expanse novels by James S. A. Corey. Set more than two hundred years in the future, in a fully colonised Solar System, police detective Josephus Miller (Thomas Jane) slowly discovers a vast conspiracy that threatens the Earth’s rebellious colony on the asteroid belt. United Nations exec Chrisjen Avasarala (Shohreh Aghdashloo) must work together with ship captain Jim Holden (Steven Strait) for the survival of humanity.
Syfy cancelled the series after three seasons, however Amazon have since picked up the show and are producing a fourth season.
