What is the documentary about?

The documentary promises never-before-seen footage of the brothers’ early life and career. It also sets out to deliver a moving, personal look at the trio’s journey.

Before becoming a pop sensation, the Jonas family was struggling to make ends meet. They achieved worldwide fame and superstardom until the group suddenly split, shocking fans around the globe. The separation was allegedly due to a deep rift and disagreement over their music direction.

During their time apart, Kevin got married and started a construction company. Nick went solo, dipped his toe into acting, and married actress Priyanka Chopra (Baywatch). Joe joined DNCE, released the hit song “Cake By The Ocean”, and married Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner. Each brother eventually found their footing as individuals, ultimately bringing the group back together and spurring this Jonas Brothers documentary. It’s been dubbed the biggest comeback of this year.

According to a press release from Amazon, “Chasing Happiness goes beyond the headlines and behind the scenes, as they build their own successful lives and careers outside of the band, and ultimately rebuild their relationships as siblings and rekindle a musical spark that inspires their upcoming album, Happiness Begins.”
