American celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain travels the world in search of exquisite and exotic cuisine in far flung corners of the planet. He finds incredible cultures and peoples, explores political unrest, and samples the wonderful food that’s eaten in these ‘parts unknown’ on a daily basis. The show has received multiple Emmy awards for its writing, editing, and cinematography.

Bourdain was tragically found dead on June 8th 2018 while filming for the show in Strasbourg, France. The series will conclude in late 2018, with the final episode purportedly serving as a memorial to the chef.
