After the death of his wife, sports anchor Danny Tanner (Bob Saget) recruits his brother-in-law Jesse (John Stamos) and his mate Joey (Dave Coulier), to help raise his three young daughters D.J., Stephanie and Michelle (played by both Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen). Over time, the household bonds and they all become close knit family.
