Merlin follows the story of a young King Arthur and his wizard Merlin. Merlin arrives in Camelot which his mother arranged for him, but soon discovers that King Uther has banned magic twenty years ago due to an even known as the Great purge. Merlin starts hearing voices in his head to protect Uther’s son (Arthur) as he is to return magic to the land.
