Based off the novel by the same name by Deborah Harkness, A Discovery of Witches is set in Oxford and follows historian and reluctant witch Diana Bishop, as she discovers a bewitched manuscript at Oxford’s Bodleian library, which forces her to use her powers again to unravel the manuscripts secrets. A vampire by the name of Matthew Clairmont offers her help, with vampires and witches having major mistrust in the past, Diana accepts and they form an alliance to protect the book and solve the mysteries and secrets together.
