The War of the Worlds is an upcoming British drama series based on the seminal H. G. Wells novel of the same name. Produced by the BBC, the series will star Rafe Spall (Black Mirror) and Eleanor Tomlinson (Poldark) as a couple who attempt to defy society. The show will also feature Rupert Graves (Sherlock) and Robert Carlyle (Once Upon a Time) in a story revolving around the terror of an alien invasion.
